Get There Faster P.S.

I’m thinking doctors perceive “mood swings” as evidence of BiPolar Disorder or Major Depressive Disorder (MDD)” and therefore treat the individual for depression.

But periods of time perceived as having mood swings are actually the periods of time marked by higher incidence or severity of the individual’s obsessive or intrusive thoughts, and therefore OCD. But the OCD is not diagnosed (or even considered) and therefore untreated.

If this is the stupidest thing anyone ever said, remember that I’m a cartoonist. An OCD cartoonist. 🤎

  1. I think I get it. Similar to what you said before, this is treating the symptom, not the cause. They need to look at what’s behind the “mood swing”.
